Driver Education Supplies mainly operates as an online showroom through this website. Should you wish to contact us, or visit our showroom. Please telephone in advance to ensure that there is someone here to deal with you and your particular query on the day.
What Are Your Opening Times
We operate normal business hours - Monday to Friday - with the exception of Company, Public and Bank Holidays?
I Am Not an ADI Can I Still Buy from Driver Education Supplies.ie
Yes. Whilst many of our products are purchased by ADI’s and other road safety professionals, we are happy to accept all orders from individuals. Simply purchase in the normal manner and follow instructions at the checkout, these will be processed in the usual way and delivered as per the terms and conditions of our website.
Can I be sure that I will get the most up-to-date version of the products you sell?
We endeavour to maintain the latest editions of all books however, there may be times, for example following the recent release of a new or updated product, that we have not had chance to update the product description on our website. If this happens we will supply you with the latest edition. Should there be a significant price difference, we will contact you giving the option to cancel your order or re-order at the new price.
What do you charge for Shipping?
Driver Education Supplies generally charges a flat overland rate shipping of €5.80 + vat (up to 30 kg) which includes delivery to all 32 counties. In the case of overseas orders e.g. U.K (mainland) for €15 + vat per carton up to 30 kg, this includes insurance of up to €400.
We Offer Free Shipping
We offer Free Shipping as a special offer to our customers on orders valued over €50 (subject to change) to anywhere in the 32 counties. This is a special for Ireland only. Orders made on our website that are out of these “specified areas” will be contacted for any additional shipping fees via customer contact information
Courier Delivery:
All deliveries are made by a third party “Fastway Couriers” generally the “Next Day”. As such delivery times are out of our control and cannot be guaranteed by us. However, as a guide, if you have ordered “non-personalised stock” you should expect 2 to 3 days delivery, for personalised products please allow 7 working days from order or from confirmation of acceptance of proof if you have requested one. Note: When calculating “days” as delivery remember that we and our couriers only operate on 'working days' which exclude weekends and Irish and/or UK Bank Holidays.
Can you Guarantee Delivery?
For higher value items, we can Track & Trace your item within minutes from the time it leaves our Dublin Office.
Low Value Orders
Small or low value orders goods can be dispatched by An Post. Your goods will usually be delivered within 2-4 working days. Note: We can only track An Post recorded items after an attempted delivery has been made and may need to wait until 14 days after dispatch before being able to investigate non-delivery of an item.
What is the Turnaround Time for Orders?
We aim to dispatch orders received Monday to Friday on the same or the next day. Our service standard for personalised products i.e. lettered roof signs, business cards, personalised stationery etc, will normally be dispatched within 4 working days (or before) of receipt of order or confirmation of acceptance of proof if requested. As a rule we aim to service orders for both stock and personalised items in full, within 5 working days, with the exception of company holidays. However, in such a case you will be informed of an estimated delivery date by email? If you haven't received your order within a week of ordering or accepting a proof please let us know so that we can investigate!
Do you have a Shop that I can visit to view the products?
Driver Education Supplies operates on a mail order basis and does not operate a retail outlet per se however, we realise that some may wish to see a product prior to purchasing, therefore, we accept visitors with a prior appointment. Please contact us for an appointment in advance through our Contact Us page.
Can I visit your offices to view or collect products?
Essentially, we are an internet mail order operation however, as stated above you are requested to make an appointment. Our offices are based in Santry in Dublin. Please see google maps on Locate Us page. Visitors should note that our showrooms have CCTV is in operation and that they may be asked to verify their identity, more especially when picking up previously purchased products. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
Is there any limit to the number of times I can purchase a product or discount deal?
Unless stated otherwise, all our discount deals and promotions relate to readily available stock items. If we offer a deal on a product with limited availability we will make this very clear on our website and supply on a first come - first served basis.
Is it cheaper to visit your showroom?
No! Our policy is that the advertised internet prices are the price paid by all. However, Driver Education Supplies attends Industry Conferences and Seminars where a “Day Special” may occur. However this is generally a “once off special” or “end of line special”.
Do you offer a discount policy?
We offer standard discounts on our product range regardless of the quantity ordered. However, we aim to be competitive for multi-buy options for some products. For additional quantity discounts ADI’s may telephone 01 8622278. We will happily discuss terms for large and/or regular orders.
Where can I find out more information on a product I wish to purchase?
Please see Product Information Section on the home page of this website. Here you will find out about due care for your product, any warnings or advisements on products such as roof signs, dual controls care for magnetic decals etc., If there is some product you would like to see included in this link, please email us and we will include it.
Can I be sure that the items I want to order are in stock?
We regularly check our website for “current stock” If we receive an order for a product that has just run out of stock, we will contact you to advise you of any likely delay via email or by telephone.
Are the prices on your website inclusive of VAT?
Yes, all prices shown on our website are inclusive of VAT at the appropriate rate. It should be noted that some products and bundle deals may contain a mix of VAT levels. In such instances the rate of VAT applied to these “mixed” products or services will be apportioned accordingly.
Can I cancel my order, what should I do?
Once an order is placed, a picking, parceling and delivery process will commence, you should let us know as soon as you can! If you have just placed an order and realise immediately that you need to cancel or amend it we can usually accommodate your request. You may do this by a follow up email to us. However, if we have already dispatched your order we will not be able to help you until the goods have been returned to us.
Note: Refunds are usually batch processed at the end of each week and that it can take a few days for any refund due to your credit or debit card to appear in your card account. Refunds may be made less any cost incurred by us (generally packing & shipping) It should be further noted that any return of goods will be at the buyer’s expense.
How can I give additional information about a purchase?
Having purchased a product or multiple products you will find a “customer additional Information box” where you may place your request (e.g. large, polo black) or lettering on a sign e.g. Joe Blogs (black) Driving School (red) Tel 01 123 45 67 (black) You may also follow up with an email through the "Contact Us" page quoting your order number to give any additional information, artwork, logo or image.
